When you hold your touch up to your ear like it's an iPhone just so you can "feel" what its like to hold one.

I think I'm the saddest.

:D:D

Sorry to laugh at your pain but that was a funny one.

I do not even have an iPod Touch yet. Waiting for over a month since my cell phone died to buy the next iPhone. No fun at all.

when you are walking around with the phone in your pocket and you just stick your hand in there to feel its sexy body

Also when you start to identify people without the iPhone simpily as "the others"

Believe me, you're not the saddest. My husband actually made me one of these paper cut-outs before I got the real thing. (I pretended it was for the kids! LOL) Thank you, Gizmodo. It helped me get through those days before I caved and bought one before Gen 2 comes out.

Be sure to print it on photo paper. It's much more realistic.

oh don't feel bed, I also caved in and bought one (yesterday) but I think we can all agree that the first gen iPhone is great enough and that it will only become greater after WWDC and the 2.0 software makes it to our phones. I think that I will be satisfied with my first gen up untill the point that 2.0 software is incompatible with with the first gen (asuming the new iPhone has a totally new chipset)

SFState and Mankin this is great. My daughter and I went on a trip to Texas and our usual day trips to other places. Everytime we made a comment about needing to look something up, we would both chime in and say "this is a iphone moment" or "if we only had an iphone, we could... ". This now has turned into a running joke for us and we both laugh. I am going to miss her when she goes to basic training. :(
Needless to say that neither of us had one. But I am hoping to get mine in the mail very shortly.

When you haven an "iPhone pocket" and an "everything else pocket" because you're scared of it getting scratched... even if it's in a case.

Also, like savanahrose, when you find yourself saying "holla at DJ iPhone" to every "I wonder why..." throughout the day.

I think you will be highly satisfied. I too could not wait for the new one to be released and went ahead and got a first gen. And needless to say, I'm in love

Everyone around me knows how addicted I am to my iPhone

I got 5 emails connected (Two School, One Work, One Family, One Friend) so I get lots of emails all day/night along with my full iPod and web-browsing :)

When you read all these post about iphone addiction and then you rush to grab your iphone from where ever it is just to feel what the others are feeling

Thanks for making me miss my iPhone even more! :(

It's only been two weeks back with my N95 and im just about ready to toss this out the window and go buy one back off ebay :(

man you guys must be the saddest people i've ever seen in my life.
i can't wait to see if any of you have kids, instead of favouring it you will probably be playing iBaby on your iPhone.

You are just jealous over how others can find joy in simpler more trivial things in life.:p

You run the battery down even when the brightness is down.

So true. "the Others" are not worthy to see the iPhone, let alone touch it.
