I do not even have an iPod Touch yet. Waiting for over a month since my cell phone died to buy the next iPhone. No fun at all.

Believe me, you're not the saddest. My husband actually made me one of these paper cut-outs before I got the real thing. (I pretended it was for the kids! LOL) Thank you, Gizmodo. It helped me get through those days before I caved and bought one before Gen 2 comes out.

oh don't feel bed, I also caved in and bought one (yesterday) but I think we can all agree that the first gen iPhone is great enough and that it will only become greater after WWDC and the 2.0 software makes it to our phones. I think that I will be satisfied with my first gen up untill the point that 2.0 software is incompatible with with the first gen (asuming the new iPhone has a totally new chipset)

SFState and Mankin this is great. My daughter and I went on a trip to Texas and our usual day trips to other places. Everytime we made a comment about needing to look something up, we would both chime in and say "this is a iphone moment" or "if we only had an iphone, we could... ". This now has turned into a running joke for us and we both laugh. I am going to miss her when she goes to basic training.
Needless to say that neither of us had one. But I am hoping to get mine in the mail very shortly.

When you haven an "iPhone pocket" and an "everything else pocket" because you're scared of it getting scratched... even if it's in a case.
