I ordered a MacBook Pro for pickup at my local Apple Store.

Yesterday, I received the following email:
“Your Order Is Ready for Pickup”
and it had an order number and a QR code and my credit card was charged.

TODAY, I received the following email:
“Your in-store pickup may be delayed”

Is Apple’s IT glitching, or did they give my laptop to someone else? I was planning on picking it up Sunday. Has this happened to anyone else?

My order status shifted to 'delivery attempted - we were unable to complete your delivery'. DHL shows it as still in China. Something not quite right!

Lots of stories like these.
But I’m sure we will all get our laptops.

Did everybody end up getting their orders? I had preordered a CTO and got a projected date of Friday, then the delay email, and ultimately picked it up yesterday. Sounds like there were some initial shipping delays.

Yes, my order was indeed ready and the Order Delayed email was wrong.

I’m loving this new laptop. I am very happy with it.

I think their system is glitching. I got the "your order is ready for pickup" email on March 12, and went to the Apple store that same day, picked it up, and brought it home. The very next day, I got the "your in-store pickup may be delayed" email.
