I’m willing to bet you’re right. There are YouTube channels that buy new iPhones just to destroy them on camera, why would this be any different? I mean if the channel makes $50,000 off of a video then spending $3500 is worth it. I’d consider that a good return on investment.
I’m not sure what the point of jailbreaking it would be other than just access some settings that weren’t available. I don’t think you can make it work with a PlayStation or for PC gaming but who knows

Very popular YouTube channels can make a good amount of money.... enough that one YouTuber decided that faking a flight emergency and crashing his plane would be a good stunt for business.... oh well... now he faces up to 20 years in prison... that is going to hurt his YouTube business.
