You Tube video playback!!

I've tried doing a search for this!
Im on Tapatalk and it seems to struggle to search at present!
So apologies if this is a repeat post!
My problem is that You Tube videos are very slow and take ages to buffer nowadays, this is on my iPhone 4 or my iPad!
Vids used to be ok! But are pretty poor now!
I'm using the same Internet provider as before btw!
Any suggestions?

watch only shorter and/or lower resolution videos or get a faster internet connection.
