In a van down by the river
After watching 3 videos just now, I got the following message from YouTube using 1Blocker. I then tested using SwizzVPN and I didn't get any message nor have I gotten blocked.

Hopefully, others here can find something that works for them. I am not paying Google a dime for YouTube.

Simply logging out of my google account seems to be working for me so far, using firefox & ublock origin.

I've been getting that warning over the past several days.
Not every time I want to open a video, but "now and then".

I use "Adguard".

I've found that if that notice pops up on you, just dismiss it and try again.
Works for me.

I have 1Blocker as well with no issue. To remove ads, Vinegar works well (on my mac).
I always use Proton VPN for my web browsing.
Safari 16.6, macOS Monterey version 12.6.9

If I disable Vinegar, YouTube ads show as normal

It hasn't occur to me yet, but my relatives and friends told me they were all getting it already in the same city.

Whatever YouTube is using to block people using adblockers, it appears to be learning what is being used and then actively making adjustments to prevent the use moving forward.

I haven't been signed into YouTube and in the beginning of the test, I wasn't receiving any popup warning me adblockers were against the TOS. Last night I started getting the warning. Today, I logged in with SWizzVPN and all was good. A few hours later, YouTube gives me the Adblock window and says all video will be blocked unless I turned off my adblocker. Accessing YouTube directly through the SwizzVPN YouTube link doesn't block me although I am not holding my breath that it keeps working.

Are you still signed into your Google account? Since signing out of my Google account and YouTube, I've watched scores of videos with uBlock Origin enabled and have experienced no popups, warnings or threats. Of course, that could be just my good luck, but it might be worth trying. EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm also using Private Browsing in Firefox.

I’ve never had a Google or YouTube account and so my adblocker cannot violate the terms of service that I never agreed to.
