I'd argue being able to easily find and hold the remote is more functionally crucial than aesthetics and doesn't count as complaining. More like making it usable for them personally and defending that decision towards others that claim this ruins the remote somehow and is also pointless. If you're a young single person that lives by themselves that has an iphone and wants everything to look and feel cool, than yes you could hardly see the point of spending extra money on having a chunky silicon covered usable remote that can be found if misplaced by, say, a child/significant other/roommate/visitor/dog... maybe all are considered one and the same for some people. I can say having spent countless hours of my time scouring family rooms, bedrooms, basements for lost apple tv remotes that slip between the tiniest of gaps, it is a very necessary feature that is well worth the money to protect my precious little free time I have with a busy family/job.You're literally complaining about the original remote by buying this. lol.
