You're literally complaining about the original remote by buying this. lol.
I'd argue being able to easily find and hold the remote is more functionally crucial than aesthetics and doesn't count as complaining. More like making it usable for them personally and defending that decision towards others that claim this ruins the remote somehow and is also pointless. If you're a young single person that lives by themselves that has an iphone and wants everything to look and feel cool, than yes you could hardly see the point of spending extra money on having a chunky silicon covered usable remote that can be found if misplaced by, say, a child/significant other/roommate/visitor/dog... maybe all are considered one and the same for some people. I can say having spent countless hours of my time scouring family rooms, bedrooms, basements for lost apple tv remotes that slip between the tiniest of gaps, it is a very necessary feature that is well worth the money to protect my precious little free time I have with a busy family/job.

Someone on the marketing team made a box with a hole in the back, labeled, "The color of this product", then someone else on the marketing team elected to put the case in a white plastic wrapper, inside the box, rendering the hole useless. Not exactly off to a good start ;).

I need this care for the air tag tracking, but I'm going to wait for them to get the bugs out. Looks like they don't all fit well either. They got some mfg issues in this first run apparently. I'll wait a couple months I think. *sigh* Two more months of playing find the remote. My 2yo is exceptionally skilled at finding some interesting places to hide it.

just only put the remote down on something that’s 5+ feet tall. At least make them work for it 😎
Oh I do. But my 8yo or wife or mother in law grabs it, leaves it on a side table to use, and doesn’t put it back. The 8yo loses the remote all the time in whatever he’s sitting on. While the 2yo grabs them and walks them into other rooms. We have 5 apple tvs so it’s a target rich environment.
