iPad Your Apple ID is Disabled

Hi there, I hope this is in the right place.

Now, does anyone know how to un-disable an Apple ID? Mine has been disabled since I had a bit of an issue with my bank but they've told me it's all rectified.

I've tried setting up a new Apple ID but I can't update apps, merely install new ones.

I've sent off an application to have it unlocked too.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be much grateful.

You'd be best served by calling Apple directly.

Are locked apple id and disabled app id same things?

I literally just called them. I did have to be passed to their iTunes team in the U.S. though!
