ive pretty much stopped caring about the battery life. ive turned the indicator off and now no longer obsess over it and dont worry about it anymore.

If only I could bring my self to do the same... I somewhat miss my iPod touch's inability to display a percentage, now I watch it constantly.

Too many people complain about battery problems that are nonexistent, then complain some more after a "repair" doesn't fix the issue.

No kidding.

Personally sometimes I have like 40% battery life at the end of the day, then forget to charge it overnight, and at the end of the next day it's still like 10%.

What phone do you have?

I would guess that you don't use your phone much, you have most options turned off, are in a high signal area and are sitting at the right hand of an angel. I don't get anything even close to that kind of battery life.

I have an iPhone 4 (I know, I know - cut me a break :))...

So you'd use 60% of the battery one day and then over a whole night and a whole another day you only use 30% (half of just previous days)? That's probably not too likely for most, unless we are talking about a significant difference in usage between those days--like one is a workday when the phone is used a lot and another one is a weekend day when the phone is barely used or maybe not even used at all.
