I'm seeing mostly Logic in this thread, though one person said Pro Tools. Any users of other DAWs here? I'm a Cubase user myself.

Ableton Live user here. Going to get a midi keyboard soon to help make things easier, haha. Still pretty new to making music though.

I'm still on my
G5 1x1.8 Tower (the last close to affordable tower that Apple made)
MOTU HD 192 (PCI)
Focusrite Preamp
Blue Baby Bottle - vocals
Some kind of Nuemann mic (may be TLM 102) - acoustic guitar (Martin)
American Strat
Rickenbacker 330
Fender Vibrolux (early '70's)
Moog Voyager
Logic Pro 8
Cubase SX 1(!)

and some other guitars, percussion and wind instruments that I don't use very much.

I just recently switched to Ableton Live and like it more than any other DAW I've tried (so far; I'm sure I'll get annoyed with it's limitations eventually). I was using Logic before that (which I still own and will probably use again), and Garageband before that. Sonic Foundry's Soundforge, etc, on Windows before that, but didn't do much more than scratch recordings for a band I was in.

I have nothing but entry-level gear at the moment. I have a M-Audio Keystation 49e midi keyboard, M-Audio StudioPro 4 monitors, and a M-Audio Fast Track audio interface (a low-end entry level one that I'm not sure they make anymore). I use a 2006 Mac Pro.

I have guitars (acoustic and electric), bass guitars (acoustic and electric), and a drum set. I'm mainly a guitarist/bass guitarist, but can play drums, and just recently starting learning keyboards properly (Garageband's piano lessons were a nice start). I also am getting into creating electronic music.

I'm starting to think about upgrading my gear. I think my next major purchase will be to upgrade my audio interface. It's hard to decide between upgrading existing gear or getting new gear that I don't already have. And also hard to decide between upgrading recording gear, or upgrading my instruments/amps.

An imac, MBP, and iPad for recording and production (and an iPod touch for simple stuff, like independent metronomes). My main interface is an Onyx Blackjack. I have a collection of guitars, instruments, mics, etc., but my main ones are an ESP electric (high end of the F series), a Washburn electric-acoustic bass, a Triton Le workstation, Novation remote SL 25 (used to belong to a famous rock star! and then I bought it from him :) ), and some random equipment and sound processors (Kaoss pad, zoom and boss equipment, etc.).

Using Logic Pro and Ableton Live (both fantastic), and some Garageband too... :)

Only thing I'm missing at the moment is a drum set though...

Ableton Live 8 user here.

Beside Logic I use Ableton Live also. I really love its way to make and arrange music. A totally different approach than any other daw. And: To my ears it sounds "better"!
What do you think? Logics algorithms haven't changed for ages and so it sounds I sometimes have the impression:).

I never used Protools...I always disliked if someone connected software to hardware....
