Why would you want to go back to old DVI and HDMI?? DisplayPort is the future of computing video.

My dream machine is doable, I can get an exact model from Lenovo but I want a MBP with these specs,

Core i5 SB 2.8Ghz
8GB DDR3
500GB 7200rpm + 128GB SSD bootdrive
ATI 6570M dedicated graphics with 1GB DDR3
10 hour battery
15.6" LED touchscreen.
Oh and PLEASE Apple, give us more at least 3 USB ports on all your portables. :(

I dont know how people expect it to get thinner. SSD will not be standard as it is simply too dear at the moment, which leaves HDD to fit the bill. So blade only SSD's is not going to happen.

Higher res screen with antiglare option on all models
i3 default for 13", i5 (15 and 17") with option from quad i5 or i5 processors on 15" and 17".
320HDD default options to upgrade to SSDs
Optical drive optional (choose between a secondary drive bay w/ larger battery or just a giant battery for those who want 10+ hours)
Improved graphics cards too
design and everything will remain the same.
Same ram specs, I don't think people need more than 8GB on a laptop.

Apple is not in favor of usb 3.0, light-peak isn't ready yet and sata is the only possible extra port but i doubt that'll happen too.

15" MBP

Core i5
4GB RAM
256GB SSD (or at least 128GB SSD)
512MB dedicated graphics memory
3x USB
Backlit keyboard
Slightly longer battery life
Slightly lighter
Slightly cheaper (maybe not with the SSD :()

*Don't care if ethernet is removed
*Don't care if optical drive is removed or retained
*I'd also like the Boot Camp software to support GPU switching while I use Windows
