I bought a battery for my PSP-2000 and a case for 6 UMD's off eBay, think I paid £25 in total. Anyways the battery wasn't as described (said new but had damage to it), he never replied so I filed a complaint. He was shut down a few days later. Must have been selling dodgy stuff. Anyways - got my money back for everything and still have my items.

But I've been ripped off for an equal amount to so its all balanced. Karma and that :D

Sorry to hear about rip-off. Once burned, twice cautious?

You know it! It was a fake GBA game that I paid full price for. I sent it back to the seller but (and my mistake) I didn't use a recorded delivery method so he claimed it never arrived back.
My arse. He probably suckered someone else into paying another £30 for it.

In the nicest way possible, and not to hurt feelings or cause a religious war...SCREW Karma and go for the jugular and get your money back!

Just bought a macbook pro 15.4 unibody for $1650. Brand new and factory sealed :D Free shipping and the seller is shipping it out tomorrow! Considering they start at 1999 directly from Apple, i think i got a great bargain!

Absolute best thing was this instant camera I got last November. £6 on buy it now :) It's absolutely massive but really fun for nights out.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

My best deal was a Gateway M275 tablet for $400. Worked great for the two years I used it for.
But now, thank goodness my MBA.

I grabbed some vinyl valued at $50 for $25 today. So it was a good deal. I normally only use buy it now.

NICE NICE NICE!!! Data center happening there?

Well being a n00b to ebay i decieded on something small, i bought a copy of system 8 on cd. Cost me 10 bucks

Oooh man did you get gypped on that. OS 9 can be had for $10, and OS 9 is a million times better then OS 8. You'd have to pay me to use OS 8.

You should pick up an old PowerBook, and Put it on it. Then you can feel the suck and pain of OS 8.

Off Topic: I love the dead thread resurrections.

On Topic: I have yet to make a purchase on ebay for no real reason other than I decided not to start collecting stuff again. I used to be a pack rat, but kicked that habit long ago. Using ebay would be too easy of a way to get back into it.

A few weeks ago I picked up a 4GB (2x2GB) kit of OWC DDR3 ram for my uMB for a grand total of $15.50 SHIPPED.

It works great and OWC confirmed for me via email that even as a 3rd party buyer their warranty will cover my ram still.

A few years ago, my dad got lucky on a lot of 100 new Cisco routers from a bankrupt business and they were incorrectly listed but he found them and made a .99 cent bid. $15 dollars later, he had 100 routers..... They all went for around $150 each when he resold them all :D

Mad money made right there.

A couple of months back I got an Apple 17" LCD Studio Display, for my G4 QS, for £30. It's in mint condition, came with the original box and everything.

I have dreams like that! Outstanding!

I bought a pair of motorbike boots that the seller had bought (along with full bike leathers, gloves, helmet, waterproofs, the works) before doing his CBT, but then decided after that one day he didn't actually want to be a biker after all :D

Retail £140, eBay price (incl. shipping) £57 :)
