I know. We have this thread now and then, but it's the weekend and so it's time for a new one. Time to big up some of your current favorite avatars and perhaps tell us why you like them.

Some I've been looking at recently:

I like this one because I find the name funny, and there something retro yet clean-looking about it. I like the little red dots and being smaller than most avatars, it's just kinda simple and neat.

Funny animals. I don't know where this one comes from but to see a husky (?) go WTF amuses me.

I have always enjoyed Dr. Q's avatars, mostly because of the theme. I'm always curious to see what he'll create next:

even though i don't see him posting, i've always been a fan of silentpanda's avatar.

It's from the film, Blue Velvet, where Dorothy Vallens is fearfully and suspiciously opening the door to Jeffrey Beaumont, a young man who is obsessed with her.

I like edesignuk's latest one. Unlike the other similar ones, he moves slowly. Looks stoned if you ask me.

One of the ones I like the most is the one with the Windows 98 start button and right bellow it says "getting frustrated."
Does anybody remember who's that is?

OMG. I was just about to say that.
I love it!
I also loved iBlue's previous avatar.
 
There's one that has the background color of the forum and has a bug crawling around on it. I forget which user has it, but it is both my favorite, for its cleverness, and least favorite, for the confusion it's caused me.

I second edesignuk's avatar, it is one of my all time favorites, and I'm not even a cat person.

As far as the crawling bug one goes, I forget who had it, though I have seen it on other forums.
