Being a massive fan of the film I've always loved your 'tar BV

Over the years I've liked all of PlaceofDis' 'tars

I like CalBoy's

It took me quite a while to find that one, and I think it fits me perfectly. And thanks to some wonderful MR members who helped along the way, Hobbes can be made to look ready for any occasion. :p

Although I must admit, Snoopy's pretty good too.

I think my all time favorite avatar is emw's. Thanks to some behind-the-scenes lobbyists, his avatar was restored:

jsw's avatar is also pretty good, and Doctor Q deserves a mention because he has quite a long queue of avatars (yes I know, very bad pun).

Lau has a great one, and I think it's even better because it's homemade. The same goes for LimeiBook86, whose protagonist is almost as fun-loving as he is.

I also liked devilot's old avatar (can't find a pic of it though). Something about it always reminded me of anime. :p:eek:

You're fine just yet, that's a fairly recent addition. In fact it's a splendid redesign that Ms. Lau did for me. :)

When you say "fairly recent". How "fairly" do you mean?

I've always thought it said that.

It was redone just after the picnic. The sequence has gone something like this:-

  • Warhol / Campbell's version
  • Banksy / Tesco Value version
  • Lautastic Warhol / Calculus picnic soup version (with added sunshine)

It goes without saying... Lacero's collection of avatars of course ;)

Those that have been mentioned are great
But I don't think anyone has singled out Applespider's
And it deserves a shout out

Truth be told, when I created my MR presence many years ago, I didn't know how to draw oliveLoaf as easily as pimentoLoaf without it looking rather sucky. So I went with the easier-to-draw name.

I was eating an olive-loaf & provolone cheese sandwich at the time. (New Years Eve 2001)

photorun was always a favorite, and of course I'm still nostalgic for my own marilyn mason tar
