Roger, Sean, then Daniel. The worst bond of all is Timothy.

Connery was great. Daniel Craig is a close second in my book. But I also like Moore and Dalton. Brosnan was only good in Golden Eye.

Of course it's Connery, but both Brosnan and Moore were worthy successors.

My favourite Bond is James.

I really, really don't like Daniel Craig. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but I just don't like him as Bond.

Daniel Craig would have been a fine Bond, but unfortunately the producers decided to cast him as Generic Action Guy™ and discarded most of the key ingredients of the Bond franchise (gags, gadgets, girls) in order to make a watered-down Bourne clone.

James Bond = Sean Connery

(But Brosnan and Craig were both good. Potentially, Craig has a chance to be very good after a few more Bond outings.)

I completely agree. They're turning Bond into Bourne, and that's not good.

Personally I am on the fence between Craig and Connery. Craig is more serious but Connery is classic. I choose Craig but by a close margin.

I agree, however I gave Connery the edge because he has a few more "Bond" movies under his belt. So far Craig has one solid one and one that was just ok in my book. However I do really like the fact he is a little more rough around the edges then the previous bonds with the exception of Connery.

Let's not forget the 1950's TV James Bond - - the original screen Bond - - Barry Nelson?

...and the 1960's comedy James Bond - - David Niven?

Connery all the way. Brosnan was alright and admittedly Goldeneye was a great film but the rest had horrible writing. Craig is also doing well but I believe his films are supposed to be of the prequel nature and not sequels. I also think his run with Bond is already over? Isn't it?

edit, I guess there's one coming out later this year and he signed on for up to 8 films total, or five more after this one. Should be interesting.

Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. I voted Daniel Craig because I loved the hell out of his style in Casino Royale.

I chose Connery. However, Brosnan is a close 2nd.

I'd don't think Craig is a good Bond. He's "okay" but doesn't fit the character well enough, in my opinion.
Isn't Craig playing Bond the way the novel intended?

Pierce Brosnan, because he's the 90s' Bond, and I'm a 90's child.

Plus I was utterly and hopelessly addicted to Goldeneye 007 for the N64. That basically made Brosnan the Bond in my eyes.

Yep, and those investments would have been three years old. I think it's time that you put your calendar in for repair:D

KGB:rolleyes:

I never look at those damn dates.

No need to repair the calendar...just my brain.

I hope your investments did well during that time.:D

Sean Connery all the way.

you must be female and older than 40 ;)

I'm kidding ... I didn't like Connery's style so much but he was brutal and REAL agent like Daniel Craig is. He gets half my vote due to Tatoo ;) always had a soft-spot for that dude ("Welcome to Fantasy Island" ... "The plane the plane" lmao!)

Pierce was still more of a natural for both action and womanizer skills ... practice was with Remington Steele! However Daniel Craig does an awesome job.

Timothy ... who? what in the WORLD was Hollywood thinking?!
