Yeah, my favorite toy is Legos. I like the versatility and the fact that it promotes thoughtfulness over video games which are mostly pointless.

Its well built, virtually indestructible and catches mice. Pretty much pays for it self.

Legos are pretty awesome. I hope my kid(s) like them. I have a ton of them, and I think it would be tons of fun once they're old enough (-2 months is way way too young).
But I'd say my current favorite toys are my Canon XTi (and gear), followed by my eMac.

I had a lot of transformers when I was younger. They were pretty cool, but that's another great thing about legos. I built a lot of transformers out of legos before I ever got any (and still long after I got a few). I built a battlestar, vipers, base ships, and raiders when I was into battlestar galactica, ocean liners when I was into them, and so on.
Unfortunately, I think most people look at legos differently now. They build what the sets are designed to make and leave it at that. Sure my battlestar was multi-colorded and lumpy, but I knew what it was and had fun playing with it.

Legos would be at the top of my list...although I it really saddened me when they kept having more and more specialized parts.
G.I. Joe would probably be next...nothing like having Stormshadow and Snake Eyes meet in the jungle and have one of them yell "I wish I knew how to quit you."

They actually still have them (or maybe they just started making them again recently)...I just bought some for a co-worker's little daughter in January.
When I was a kid it was a huge mound of dirt and my toy cars & trucks. Now it's my books, grandbaby and dogs and cats. The wife is in there somewhere, too.

I think Legos are pretty kick-ass, too. I would have to break from the pack and say that waterguns are even COOLER, though.

Lego Blocks is the right word.
NOt trying to be stingy but that is one of my pet peves.
Also, K-nex were always cool. Also I love yo-yos!
