I'm having a small issue with my custom image header on my wordpress blog located here at www.jonathanjk.wordpress.com

The image loads for me (and for me on a mac at uni) and one of my other mac friends but it doesn't for my sister who is on windows nor does it run for me if I use Camino on the same machine as I use Safari at home. It is kinda weird.

Can anybody reading this just go to my site an confirm it loads on a machine without Safari please?

I'm also going to put in a question to the wordpress help guys when i receive enough feedback from here.

I'm on a Windows machine at work running IE6 and it doesn't load. I completed the poll as well.

I replied to your poll as well, it did well on safari but did not load with firefox (macbook pro)

Analyzing the image it looks to be 1.5 MB. Preview shows it has a color profile of "sRGB IEC61966-2.1," which has no meaning to me, but seems odd that a jpg is that large in files size, but so small in dimensions. The DPI is only 72, which is normal so I can only guess that the color profile is adding to the file size. You may want to save the image from Photoshop without the color profile and see if that makes a difference.

Try to ready the image for the web with PS.

Webkit/Mac showed fine.
Firefix/Mac no
IE8/XP no
Konquerer/Linux yes. (!)
Safari/Vista NO (!!)
IE8/Vista no

AHA!
Invalid jpeg marker. Did you save it as a jpg but it's really a .psd? Bet it is. Photoshop wouldn't open it until I changed the extension to .psd.
Her'es a fresh good version if you'd like.

Hey there thanks for replying everyone, I didn't expect someone to investigate the file for me, thank you very much.

I must have just saved it without the 'save for web' option, silly me. It works now for me using camino, does it work for anybody else not using safari?

For reference, you can just click save and under more options select what you'd like to save it as (and then remove ..copy.xxx from the name).

Worked fine in Mac Firefox now. Glad we could help. The image really being a Photoshop file makes sense. I just noted the images info mentioned it was a Adobe Photoshop Document, but I didn't put together it was actually a psd file.

it worked for me using Firefox on intel mac mini running Leopard.
It also worked for me on windows XP running on a Dell 8600 laptop using IE 6.
