Got a new iPad Mini Retina that I'm really liking but not sure which case to go with. I got an open box Zagg folio keyboard case for $35w/ my best buy rewards. I like the idea of the keyboard just not sure how much Ill use it. I do like that it looks like a mini laptop lol. What case do you like?

Well I have always liked the Incase Magazine Jacket, its pretty light.

Although I'm personally always tempted to just use a sleeve and use the iPad "naked" when i'm where I want to be...

I just use the Smart Cover and a Ghost Armor carbon fiber skin on the back.

I've always used cases, but once I went to the skin only it would be hard to go back.

Best case

The best case for the mini is the Poetic Slimline. Good price and great form factor. I have had mine since the rmini came out and it is still perfect.

I have the Zagg Invisible Shield HD on front & back....then I also have the Apple Smart Case & Smart Cover...and I switch between the two, usually using the Smart Case when I take my iPad with me.

For anyone that uses a case that leaves the display exposed how do you transport it without worrying about breakage?

I have the Smart Cover for when it is in my backpack, which really only serves as my son's diaper bag at this point.

Otherwise, I carry it in my hand.

I would just be careful of where you carry it. A lot of bags now have padded areas for laptops, etc. That is usually a good place to keep it.
