These 3 things currently annoy me:

1.) It takes FOREVER to add multiple people for emailing/txting because you add them 1 by 1.

2.) No one push button to turn 3G & Wi-Fi on/off so I have to go through the settings.

3.) A minor lag still exists when loading up contacts.

I don't think I'm being too picky am I? :p Other than that I'm 100% satisfied with my iPhone 3G.

Yeah I'm disapointed about that too, but its not apples fault that they can fix, it is the providers fault, they want a share of all Music sold on the device and that would run up all sales of music over the network to $2+ a song, worth the compromise? I dont think so

not being able to attach a photo on a reply/forward e-mail. unless there's a way to do it that i don't know about?

That
not being able to attach a photo on a reply/forward e-mail. unless there's a way to do it that i don't know about?
that, the lack of copy/paste, and time stamp and the ability to delete select text messsages, not just the entire conversation, and the lack of a syncable, editable on the computer, notes/memos function.

Adding those things would make my iPhone 99% perfect. :)

sound randomly turning off
no mms
crashes
speaker volume not loud enough
coverflow- why is only sorted by artist?
email messages that only say "This message has not been downloaded from the server". WTF, why show the email if it hasn't been downloaded?

I hate the fact that you cant hide icons you don't use unless your phone is jail broken. And yes i know you can put them on another page to hide them its still annoying you cant select "show icon or Hide icon"

Finger Prints on the screen! Maybe it's just me but it drives me crazy, im always useing the microfiber cloth to clean them off haha.

And my gripes are the same for the 3G that they were for 1st Gen:

1) No A2DP - THIS IS HUGE APPLE!!!
2) No MMS - E-mail is not the way of the future Steve
3) No Copy/Paste

I'd also like Flash, but I understand the battery issues as Apple states it.

Gimped bluetooth.

I mean not like I didn't know about it going in but I'm still waiting for them to justify it. I can see files transfer maybe because of sync issue... they want you to use itunes for it all and eliminating an extra form of file sharing makes sure everything plays nice but still... no stereo over bluetooth? What's the justification there.

  1. No profiles for email, sms, call sounds, etc
  2. No day view in calendar
  3. No cut & paste
  4. Having to swipe the damn unlocky thing to see if I have any emails, calls, etc
  5. ics attachments don't add meetings to calendar (they do in iCal desktop)
  6. Desktop notes and tasks are not synced
  7. Can't store documents on phone for later attaching to outgoing emails
  8. Can only email one photo at a time
  9. Bluetooth on/off is buried in the settings. Everytime I get in the car have to turn it on (or waste my battery by leaving it on)
  10. No replaceable battery. If / when I need a replacement, I'm without a phone for a week.
  11. The stupid chime everytime you plug in the power (even when it's on silent).
  12. No way to have seperate signatures for different mail accounts
  13. No way to use .Mac aliases
  14. No centralized inbox
  15. The amount of crap on the app store (not strictly iphone)

Yep, a few niggles

I must agree that it is not perfect yet. However, many things are great.

I am impressed with NetShare. The connection is really fast. Broadband quality, if not the fastest broadband available. In fact I am posting through NetShare and my powerbook.

I would like however that the native safari worked so fast on the iPhone.

That would be cool.

There is a day view in the calendar. I use it all the time.

You are absolutely correct about the rest. But I leave BT on 24/7, and I don't find it a drain on my battery. Maybe I'm not seeing it, though.
