After syncing for the first time, I did a hard reset on it. Try that and then another Geekbench score.

Yea, I will be setting up my phone "as new"... not from a back up. I do not want to bring any "junk" from my old phone.

Additional: Do not know how much of a difference this makes, but still gonna do it.

Not sure if it matters, but I only had the GeekBench app open on both tests.

From the article, the iPhone 5 has the highest marks they've had. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Just ran a test after getting everything up to date on my phone. Got 1647 as a result.

I've had over 1800 from my S3. The iPhone 5 is the most consistent though at usually 164X. Sometimes the S3 is below 1600 but the average is around 1700. 4S is 600 odd and 4 is 300 odd.

Added: just done a 'best of 7' and S3 is 1763 avg and iPhone 5 1646 avg. So from a geekbench perspective S3 is out in front.
