That sounds like a mobo issue. Virtually all hackintoshes have to have their audio patched to work correctly with OS X. For my build, after the install I had to install NVidia drivers and run the Taruga audio patch. Haven't had any issues since.
haha no, i initially bought it for gaming as i have a mb and as we know they cant play anything
but i decided to throw osx on it and it has since become my primary computer
My macbook has no troubles with quake / warcraft games. Snes roms work good too.

I guest the RAM makes a big difference?
My 2.66 gets a 6023 with the same GFX card but 5MB RAM.
Just done my 2.26 octo, 12158, which is near the top of the published 32 bit scores for the 2.26 so I'm happy with that
