I think I have found the one browser that works for me on all my devices, in macOS, Linux and iOS, but curious to know what others use...

I use Safari on my Mac and iPhone. But I just use Chrome with iCloud syncing extensions when I use a Windows PC.
Sadly it's not available on Linux as it relies on the iCloud desktop app

ive never been one for caring what browser to use. safari on phone and Mac. however I do use edge only because sometimes I need to log into work sites and its edge on my pc, so it makes sense just really from it separating my Mac favorites, passwords etc and my work stuff.

I've tried many, I was pretty happy with Safari except that I also need a browser for Linux, so it was Firefox for Linux, everything else Safari. Firefox could be OK for all if it had ad-blocking in iOS but it doesn't. Also tried Orion and it is pretty cool but again, no Linux yet. So now I am on Vivaldi, which has all platforms and ad-blocking on iOS, it was overwhelming at first with all the features, but after a few days I think I like it a lot!

Safari on my Apple devices. I've tried using Firefox (which I use on my work PCs) but I miss AdBlock, and Safari's integration with other Apple apps, for example, automatically filling in 2FA codes from Messages.

OTOH, Safari is terrible for printing (including saving to PDF), and I frequently have compatibility issues where I can't log into a site or graphic elements don't appear.

I also keep Brave around for compatibility with sites that expect everybody to use Chrome.

On PC or Mac desktop, I use FireFox. uBlock Origin being the main reason. But I've used FF on PC for 15+ years.

On mobile, which is iPhone & iPad for me, I've used Safari mainly but I don't mobile browse a lot unless I have to, but I've tried Orion recently which allows FF/Chrome extensions (No idea how it works, but it does), for uBO and Youtube Control panel, which makes Youtube on an iPad actualy usable.

iPad=Safari (most fluid)
W11=Edge (best battery time)
Android=Vivaldi (best UI)

If I had a Mac I'd likely go with Brave, Firefox or Vivaldi. My favourite back in the day was Opera due to its mouse gestures, but I feel it never returned to its 00s high peak.

yeah Orion is pretty cool, I might switch to them once they release a stable Linux version

there's uBlock lite for iOS and macOS (and iPadOS as well) for Safari. I use it and it's pretty decent. Even seems to block YouTube ads, which is great

I also run an AdGuard blocklist on my network's firewall which helps a little bit

For Safari ad-blocking I was using Wipr, which is paid but it's totally worth it IMO if you want to stick to Safari, it is really good for iOS and macOS.

Safari on iPhone (but with Chrome keychain), Chrome on my MBP M4, and Firefox ESR on my old MBP Mid 2014. I voted Safari, since I probably use it the most nowadays.

I have been using Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome, on a Windows 11 Pro laptop, and boy are they bad. The readability of the text on the websites is awful, and this them of text being underlined everywhere, in the words of a great man, Yuck!

I think that might be more of an OS difference: macOS and Windows render fonts differently. I think historically macOS's font rendering has been considered the better one, but there's a subjective aspect to it as well, also depends on your monitor.s quality and resolution where one OS might work better than the other for say a super low or super high res monitor. I certainly think macOS's font rendering is the best but I am biased 🙂

I'm trying to switch to Firefox because of wanting to continue using uBlock Origin. I'm finding some odd things with Firefox that are making it difficult. For one, running dnscheck.tools seems to have 80-100 ms of increased latency reported. There are minor rendering issues that I'm having a hard time getting accustomed to. Bitwarden also seems to not act as well with Firefox as with Chrome (maybe because of Chrome's increased user base, it's more widely tested?).
