To make things interesting I will send the voted winner a prize (on my dime--it may only be a dime but you will win a prize).

Please Keep Your Predictions Organized so they can easily be checked once the Keynote is over. Also please keep comments about others predictions to a minimum.

I will post my prediction in a separate post because If I get bored enough I can keep an update of most predicted things here if the thread gets rolling.

Good Luck and may the best man, woman, or alien computer technology win.

You can amend your prediction anytime before the Keynote.

    My prediction:

    1. iPhone SDK no longer Beta
    2. iPhone 2.0 software and App Store available TODAY!
    3. iPhone 3G with official announcements of all the recent carrier agreements.
    4. iPhone 3G available in most countries the 20th of June
    5. .Mac overhaul. Enterprise Solutions. Branches off to Me and Mobile Me. However, ME could stand for something like (Mac exchange or something).
    6. Back to My Mac iPhone style
    7. OS X snow leopard or 10.6 quick mention. lots of talk about seemless integration with the mobile platform. (the converging bridges).

Well, it's a real shame that Time Machine only goes back in time. If only it could go forward 72 hours to retrieve the keynote stream. That would be such an easy win!

    1. A discussion about growth in phone industry, mac market share, iTunes, and that type of garbage.
    2. Introduction of OS 10.6. Not many details, but just the knowledge that they're working on it.
    3. .mac overhaul. The feature will retain the .mac name, but "mobile me" will be a new feature. Like Back to my mac, it won't be the product name, but just a component of it.
    4. A demo of the 2.0 firmware for the iPhone/iPod, available whenever immediately.
    5. Introduction of the 3G iPhone.
    6. Expansion into more international markets.

And by the way, are you gonna mail yourself a dime if you win?

There is no way I'm going to win. But if I do, I say its rigged.

1.3g iPhone, .Mac integration (more on that below), video conferencing, big new features that were not shown to us yet in the software update
    2. 10.6 Talked about in little to no detail, touch screen possibly?
    3. .Mac completely changed, most likely revolving around iPhone, iEverything basically

And that's my safe rough list...I don't expect them to go all out, as 80% of this keynote will most likely be iPhone's OS.

Ok, I should win a bigger prize if my prediction is correct:

The keynote has no mention what so ever to the 3G iPhone, and as people are starting to stand up and leave, Steve Jobs runs back on stage shouting "sorry sorry, I forgot to mention the iPhone..."

    lol

    • Final release of iPhone SDK.
    • Introduction of iPhone App Store
    • Introduction of 3G-capable iPhone - 16 & 32GB.
    • Introduction of entry-level iPhone - not 3G compatible. Smaller than exisitng iPhone. 8GB.
    • Retooling of .Mac to be compatible with iPhone and iPhone software.
    • Demo of OS 10.6

No "One More Thing." No new computers. No new displays. Maybe some unannounced speedbumps to existing lines such as the Mac Mini.

It's a developer conference, so it will be more software-oriented then consumer-oriented.

I'm a realist with low expectations.

Since this is a developer conference, I really don't expect any whiz-bang-spiffy consumer products to be introduced (i.e. new tablet, anything :apple:tv related, updated ipods).

Not to say we won't ever see these products. Chances are, Apple will have a few more media events later this year.

But personally, I'm not getting my hopes up for much outside of the iPhone, .Mac, and a 10.6 Developer Preview for this keynote.

(And I'm starting to doubt the entry level iPhone.)

My prediction is that regardless of what Mr. Jobs announces or what new products may come out, for the next week 98% of posts on MacRumors will be sprinkled with words like "deal-breaker", "what were they thinking?", "it will never sell", "what they should have done is...", etc. etc. etc.

    That's just a guess though. :D
