that's all I'm getting now. Ridiculous. You'd think by now AT&T would have their crap sorted out.
Yup, I've gotten that message too for the last hour or so.
I catch up on some e-mail, order a phone (fails)
Read some news, order a phone again (fail again)
Load the dishwasher, order a phone again (fail again)
I'm in Hawaii, so it's only 10:30pm here. I'll keep on trying and if I don't get through tonight, I'll just wait a few weeks and pick one up on my next flight into Honolulu... (No Apple Stores here on the Big Island.)
My first order went through fine. My second one is now doing the same thing as you described. Frustrating.

I just ordered on AT&T's website it went smooth as butter. I gave up on apple.com and there is no way I am going through what I did to get the iPhone 4 last year lol (8 hours of hitting refresh).

You're part of the problem.
managed to get in as soon as it opened up, got all the way through the process and that was the point my credit card company triggered it for a fraud alert.... so by the time i called them and got it sorted the site was suffering
Now i can't get near to finishing the order
Update: Having said that the next attempt has just gone though with an order number.... woot!
