"Your SIM sent a text message" pop-up after 8.2 upgrade

If you have an iPhone 6, you have a sim card, you just don't realize it. That strange hole on the right middle side of your phone is how you get to it.

I was referring to the sim free model that Apple sells. Of course it still uses a sim card they just don't come with one installed.

Dont panic guys!

All it is, is the iPhone sending a text message with device details to Apple to activate your iMessage, we get a different message over here in the UK but its the same thing!

Weirdly, my iPhone 4 showed this message, and it wasn't after a reboot / upgrade nor am I on iOS 8 (still on 7.1), the phone just woke, displayed the message and 'slept' again.
