Come to think of it. We shouldn't have to guess. Someone in Appleland will know the answer to this. Have you tried contacting tech support?
Haha...I'm not even gonna tell you what I do in a month. You might fall out of your chair.

Only if you jailbreak it. Which is silly. Apple should come up with some sort of an iPhone hub application. We need to clear out iTunes, it's getting bloated.
Just curious, where did you get 80,000?
98.1MB free isn't very much. Did you try freeing up a little more space in case Apple has set a limit on how low you can go? It mean it would make sense to reserve at least 100MB. But then it is possible this reservation doesn't show up as free space anyway. Worth a try

wow you may have abandonment issues anxiety/OCD
they are just messages man, take a screengrab of the good/funny ones and just delete the rest
Plus is lags as it fills up, and who needs that?![]()
Haha. On a talkative month, I do ~16,000 texts.
I also do roughly 14,000-18,000 on a talkative month. My average is close to 15,500 for the past 5 months since I got my iPhone. Even on my old LG phone I got close to 10,000 a month.
Seriously? How? I'm going to presume that's total (sent and received), but that's still over 1 text read or written for every 2 mninutes, for 16 hours every day. Surely you can't do anything but text?![]()
I can get multiple (4-5) texts per minute from 3-4 different people.
Hahah I'm pretty sure that needs to be added to the DSM-V.
Also, does "" and "haha" and "k" in a row count as 3 text messages? I'm pretty sure it's impossible for this to be full phrases/sentences ...
The limit was raised from 1,000 to 75,000 after the 1.1.3 update.
Not to get to far off topic. It is funny you mention this. I review job applications and you would be amazed at how many people use text lingo on their applications. I don't think you are to far off with that statement.... I am not saying all. Really seeing it with the 19-22 year olds. It is sad actually.
To the op..... you might want to erase all of your messages and see what happens.
It really is . . . I studied history in undergrad and I get very sad thinking about all the beautiful old correspondence I got to read from the 19th and early 20th century and how in 200 years our culture will be remembered by LOL's and TTYL aight - why the need to abbreviate alright? I will never understand.
