I have a Fossil with a black dial and no numbers. It's a very minimal watch, best cheap imitation of a Movado watch I can find. One day I'm going to own a Movado watch, oh yes I will.

fake rolexes... yeah!!:D

I wear a Fossil watch with Felix The Cat on it. It's impossible to to read the exact time 'cause Felix's hands are a little... imprecise .

A colorful toy-like watch, (say like a child might wear) probably says that you are artistic, playful, a bit absentminded, don't take yourself too seriously, takes more of a 'whatever dude' attitude towards life.

that is me...casio g shock with yellow face, diver watch with rubber band, minute and hour hands, four function buttons, and four digital readouts...kind of looks like a fake toy watch for a gi joe

i am a musician for fun, would like to be able to draw, and i don't take myself seriously thus my rather lax work life (never worked more than five days a week for any extended period and never felt the need to), i am absentminded, and i have a ton of interests and i am curious about the unknown

i don't need an expensive watch but if i had one, i would definitely consider the childlike alain silberstein watches, like elton john likes to wear but i don't need to buy a watch that costs as much as a car...tag heuer's mid priced formula 1 watch with a yellow, orange, or red face is like mine, but a little thinner and simpler, yet still playful, and i like it a lot

...and that anybody with no watch also has no personality. :p

I don't wear a watch. :(

But honestly, in London, who needs to? There are bloody clocks everywhere as well as in other devices. If I really need to know the time at a pinch, then I can always look at my iPod.

However, having no watch also deprives you of that incredibly subtle gesture of checking it ostentatiously when you're bored and want to cut short a meeting or conversation.

I never liked wearing watches, and found them pointless especially after getting my cellphone, which is always with me. I think it's annoying always pulling on my wrist hair... anyways. I don't wear any accesories like necklaces or bracelettes, I find it really annoying, I can't stand it. No rings either. Eventually rings are probably tolerable (wedding ring  ) but I think that's about it.

My watch

16th birthday present from my parents, atleast I think it was my 16th

My first watch was this cheap Casio, which I had for two years. The strap broke a couple of weeks ago:

So, I replaced it with this one, which cost about twice as much, and is generally a much better watch :D (note: this one only cost me £25)

I wear a Breitling Colt for everyday use and have a Cartier Pasha for dress. Both are automatic self winding watches. In my opinion, any one who pays more than $200 for a quartz driven watch is getting ripped off.

tell that to omega, breitling, tutima, tag heuer, or movado :)

the best quartz watch i have seen for my purposes...outdoor and banging around under computers, etc, is the quartz driven omega seamaster, the official james bond watch worn in most of the bond movies, which i have seen for about $1100 dollars ( www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=284 )...swiss quartz movement which is the world's most accurate and 300 meter water resistance...but i don't own it, i just lust after it ;)

their automatic version is three hundred dollars more and also a nice watch, and their dressy and much thinner constellation with similar tough specs ranges from $2000 to $3300 dollars usd, in quartz and automatic movements

and if you want to spend over $10,000 dollars, just line the thing with diamonds which at that point starts looking tacky

those are really cool ! I first saw them a few days ago...
I have been watch-less for a couple years now (kept looking at my bare wrist for about half a year...), since I could never find 'that' special watch. Well, actually, I should say: that special watch I can afford :)

Nooka might change my timelessness, though :D

Mine's kinda like this but it's from 1999 so it's a bit different. I like the rectangular design with the polished finished. Plus, the numbers glow in the dark so I can read it in the middle of the night. I'm too blind without glasses to see an alarm clock.

Here's mine. I got it in 1999 when the first Seiko Kinetic Auto Relays came out. I guess it does sorta reflect my personality and my love for funky new technology.

casio g-shock
the toughest mofo out there
has been through special forces training
been thrown at walls
been totally molested just for the fun of it
nothing but a few scratches
g-shock rocks!!!

I've got the G-Shock Solar Powered Atomic Sync version.

We bought one for my son for Christmas 2 years ago for $79.95. I liked it but at the time didn't have a watch. (I was trying to not be caught up in the rush of the rest of business world...)
A couple of months later I found the same watch for $36 at the local scratch and dent store. It's been on my wrist everyday since.
His died after about 6 or 9 months because he wouldn't wear it enough. Had to have the back-up battery replaced.

Citizen Stiletto Eco-Drive - Stainless & Gold

I've had this watch for a year or so... I love it... super thin and lightweight. Plus no more batteries for me!
