Next time, before you decide to unleash almost $1k on a website you have never heard about, read online reviews or look at the Whois domain information for any real contact numbers.

Here's the Whois data, obviously anonymized, if anything, try talking to the EFF to get on your side if they refuse to refund your money. Also call up your credit card company and report fraud on the charge.

That knockoff phone is WORTH $50.

You also need to source the story. Mention where you copied the quote.

That gorgeous phone is now on sale for $699.99. I would ask for at least the difference in the price back. Don't you hate when things go on sale shortly after you buy them?

Don't all rush to judgment.

What kind of app store do they offer?

I agree. What if it's just a worry-free, hold-as-you-please phone, with no antenna or proximity sensor problems? These people may be onto something. After all, there are some people out there that may sacrifice some performance and shine for the reliability of making a plain-old, trouble-free phone call.

They are posting on Craigs list as well (posted today as a matter of fact claiming to sell the 3GS unlocked, both black and white. I would personally try and write to them claiming misrepresentation and unless they give you what you paid for stated by their company you will take them to court over it.

The video is hilarious! I love the "Clenda" application and the overall cheekiness of the "review", making sure to point what an unadulterated piece of crap the thing is. The calculator was good too. "It probably gives you the right answers although I wouldn't put money on it". No lie, neither would I. This was well worth the 30 minute video length. :)

I was cracking up the whole time. You gotta check out his other reviews, especially "pop station retieval mankinds batman"

and no I didnt type that title wrong...

This actually happened to a co-worker of mine, but he's technologically challenged so he thinks he has a real iPhone and no one has the heart to tell him any different.

It's sad, but it's funny whenever he pulls out the phone and tells everyone how much he loves his "iPhone." And it doesn't even look as good as this knock off.

What's this co-workers phone number? I'll tell him.

Wow this IS the Jesus phone. Titanium Body, OLED Screen, 64GB, 1.2 GHZ processor, 4G data speed, OS 2.7 and that's not all Ladies and Gentlemen it comes with Cycorder.

Had to watch again, it's that funny. I love when he plays the dopey java game and notes that playing the little tune is, by a wide margin, the best thing the phone has done to that point. Just great stuff. I do wish the real iPhone had the removable battery tho. That would be pretty sweet.
