has anyone ever heard of this site where they buy your iPhone and pay you to recycle it? can anyone testify to this site working or is it just a scam

Certainly looks like a good site...i'm looking up some reviews for it now but i can't really find anything solid for or against it >.<

Personally, to be safe, I would go to buymytronics.com

They have basically the same prices, but I can guarantee you 100% that they are legit as I have used them before and there are tons of good reviews for them.

We're Good! : D

Hi!
This is Alysa, the Director of Marketing and PR at YouRenew.com, I can tell you with certainty that we are not a scam.

Everything on our Web site is truthful and we really will pay you for your old iPhone. We can also send you a box if you need one.

If you would like more verification, we were recently seen on Fox news and mentioned in CNET's and NYTimes's blogs.

funny, i didn't read the url as "You Renew", instead i read it as "You're New".

As I said in another thread, be careful with these sites

People I know that have done this type of thing have been ripped of 3 of 4 times, me included

I think it's a scam

I will never use again nor will I recommend. I sent in a very gently used iPhone about 3 weeks ago. It was in the original packaging with chargers, etc. I received an email 2 weeks ago confirming receipt of my package and that "in a couple of days" I would receive another email after my electronics had been "reviewed." I have not heard anything since despite a 2 emails asking for an update and a posting on the Facebook page. I have no hope of ever seeing my iPhone or my money.

Funny. I priced a 32GB 3GS in perfect condition and they came back with 135.00. What an unbelievable ripoff! I can't believe anyone would fall for a site like that. STAY AWAY!!!

When I read the link I thought it said "you're new dot com"... Which would be comparable to getting a tattoo that says "dont" without the apostrophe. Now I see that it is "you renew dot com" - carry on. :D

Any time the Director of Marketing and Renewal comes and gives a testimonial, it must be legit.
