iPhone YouTube App background play not working

The problem started today. Despite using the official YouTube app and being a premium lite subscriber, YouTube refuses to play video in the background starting today. I already checked to make sure the setting to play in the background is turned on. Can anyone else with a premium subscription test this?
 
Ok maybe it was a problem with just one video. I could get background play to work while I was listening to:
