Youtube app loads videos very slow on IOS6, iPhone 4S. I can let it buffer for 10 seconds, it plays and then stops because it has to buffer again. I have a 4Mbit connection, on pc the same video loads very fast without problems.

Same here, I use the web app. It seems to load much quicker than the YouTube app itself.
Yea it's having buffer problems use the jasmine app it's better then the youtube app it's free and can choose in options to stream in hd 1080p 720p or non hd and can play the audio in the background etc.

blame google for their inability to and lack of talent to code proper apps.

Go to settings then stream quality change to ask then when you click on a video that's in 1080p you can choose 1080p or 720p etc

I think Youtube sucks in general. I have a 30MBPS down connection and still, 1080p videos ALWAYS stop halfway through playing to buffer. This is on all of my Apple devices. Time for a server overhaul, Google.

This is true for me too. I have a 20 down connection and it stops to buffer... a lot!
