Google has today released an update for Youtube, but the app is still broken, see the picture
Is that on a 6/6+?
iPhone 5S, iOS 8.0.2
Youtube on iOS 8 definitely has a lot of issues. However, iOS 8 itself has lots of rotation issues so I wouldn't be so sure what you are seeing is a Youtube bug.
I can't duplicate that on my 6. Were you doing anything specific when that happened?
I have the same problem on iPhone 5, even after latest YouTube update.
its STILL not updated for ios 8 let alone iphone 6 screen, typical google theyre always like this..give them another..few months
When you want to search for something
Except they already updated their Gmail and Chrome apps.
I get this bug on my iPhone 6, 8.0.2 and the newest YouTube update (today).
I expect updates to the rest of Google's apps this week. Yesterday gmail today chrome.
I get the same thing on my 6+. It's easy to fix but I can't recall right now, I think going out and back in the app fixes it.
didnt know i dont use them, i meant it as in the youtube part of google, theyre slow & almost like robots when it comes to managing youtube since they acquired it (lol the youtube flagging system etc)
I get the same crap on my 6+. Its so annoying. Freaken Google
Got the same issue on my iPhone 6 128gb. Just wait for a fix
I have the same problem with the statusbar:\
I have one major ANNOYING bug with the YouTube app on my iPad 2
When scrolling through my Subscriptions and looking down the list of new videos, when I play a couple of vids and then go back to the scrollable list of new videos, I then find that the screen becomes a little unresponsive.
By that I mean that after a while, I cannot select ANY videos to play - the scrolling up and down still works (when scrolling up and down to see all the new videos) but actually tapping on the videos to start them playing does nothing?!
The only way I can get around this is to kill the app (from the multi-tasking tray) and restart it. At first, I thought this was down to my iPad but it is not - I downloaded a 3rd party YouTube app and that works fine?!
Anyone else getting this?
Yep still messed up, just like a ton of apps are still not optimized for the bigger screens, especially for my 6+. It is getting really annoying. Hopefully soon we will see a lot of developer app updates.
