YouTube app picture-in-picture suddenly gone

Working fine for me on this version. Not ready to take a chance with the update.

I did sign in on a different device on the newer version, I don't know if that's what disabled it for me.

16.37.3 using experimental features on my iPhone 12 Pro Max still works…for now.

The PiP is still working for me on the latest update. Maybe check the setting. I don’t think I’ve had that before.

I had PiP working for months with no issue until this evening. The new update version 16.37.3 killed it. I even went into Try new features and turned it on, still not working. If they don't give me PiP again soon I will be canceling my Premium subscription. Clearly it can and does work, not sure why they keep playing this game.

I was able to reenable it from the settings within the app under a section called "Try new features". I did have to restart the app.

Must be different interfaces for different users. Under experimental features this is listed, however there is no way to enable it.

Edited to add .. Thank you for the tip re try new features, PIP is now back on my iPad .. I had log out and back in on premium
