iPhone Youtube app volume

I have an iphone 12 mini and when I play anything on youtube app and adjust the volume , it does the same on my main iphone volume. There doesnt seem to be a volume adjuster in the youtube app anymore , anyone know how to adjust the youtube volume without it affecting my main volume , like it used to ?

There has never been a volume slider in Youtube. Your ringer and media volumes are seperate and adjusted contextually.

There was always a volume slider in youtube I used it all the time , its still there in the ipad.

On the iPad: In Safari, yes; in the app, no.

Wrong , Settings then sound and haptics and turn on Change with buttons , sorted.

Enabled sound and haptics under iPad Settings and still don't see a volume slider in the YouTube app.

Dont know about the pad , works fine for the phone. I dont need to adjust main volume after watching youtube.
