The 3gp being listed was an accidental side-effect of the current throttling bypass that we use. I defenitely did not expect anyone to actually use that format.

We now have a better fix for the throttling issue. So the current bypass will be turned off in a future release, and with it, the 3gp format will disappear. If you want to make sure it is still listed in the future, add a

to your configurations

Safari v1.3 (latest for Panther, from '05) can't connect to ytprivate.com for some reason. I SSL/TLS tested it and it says TLS 1.0 is supported...

Camino v1.6.11 (latest for Panther, from '08) and Links2 both work well with it though, as well as Safari on Tiger.
 
So I just streamed my first YouTube video on the clamshell at full playable speed using 3GP and QuickTime testing PPCMC 7.2.6. There is something just magical about it being possible at all.

FFplay even with the suggested configuration can not keep up on the 300MHz clamshell. Is what it is.
