HomePod YouTube Audio on HomePods

Updated my Home Pods to 26.0 and now whenever I try to airplay audio from YouTube I get an error that says “Something went wrong, Tap to retry”. The YouTube won’t play on my device until I switch the audio source back to the device speakers. Audio from other sources, like Spotify work fine. Help

I guess I’m either the only person who listens to YouTube videos through their Home Pods or I’m the only one with this problem.

Als having a similar issue, it is frustrating, as it is the sole reason I bought the Homepod 2. Hope they fix it soon

Experienced the same thing and it started last Saturday. YouTube Music works but not the main app on my iPhone and iPad. I just randomly tried my iPhone now using YouTube app and it’s working! They must have fixed it.
