YouTube doesn't work anymore on my iPhone 3G running iOS 4.2.1. Every video results in the fallowing error message:

This movie format is not supported.

A few moments ago I restored my iPhone to its factory settings. (without restoring from a backup) Same problem.

Appears to be a bug with YouTube?

I don't have a 4.2.1 device, but I DO have 3.1.3, and YouTube still works. It's therefore not a case of Apple dropping support for older devices.

ipad2 with 5.0.1

iOS 5.0.1 ipad2 same problem Even with 3 bars of WiFi, YouTube doesnt work, Even Youtube.com wont work.....

I had this problem on my iPad 2 a few days ago. I just closed all apps and then rebooted. YouTube started working again after reboot.

You can`t play HD on an SD device. Youtube, Oplayer or any media won`t play if its high def. Try a lower quality vid and it will run just fine.

This has nothing to do with HD or SD. As far as I know YouTube videos will automatically play in 360p.

This problem only occurred a week ago.
