It's absolutely farcical, especially with Facebook. If I was Zuckerberg I would be embarrassed. I just don't use Facebook on my iPad now because it looks awful stretched out.

Way back in 2012 at WWDC Apple was crystal clear: use the built in size classes in the developer kit to make your apps resolution independent. It really wasn't hard. They had the tools to make their apps work natively at all resolutions. Maybe not optimised but at least functional at native rez. And they ignored it!

Hey Siri, define farcical

Bought protube. 3 bux. Pretty nice. No ads in videos or in the app. I'm sold. Plays 1080p.

Don't know if 60fps 1080p is available in the apps. Protube doesn't have it.

PIP works though. :)

I tried tubex for a bit but in app ads annoy me.

Get Tubex and you will never want to use ****** YouTube app ever again!
how will tubex play back a youtube movie in safari better?
also can I make a movie found on safari open in tubex or playback with it?
[doublepost=1453694081][/doublepost]I use safari 99% of time on ipad and most of that time includes watching movie links from you tube at most.
what good is an ipad if you tube experiance is as bad as it is?
[doublepost=1453694635][/doublepost]I just want the video found on safari to play back fine without any hoops to jump through.... or a way to choose to "open with" like setting a standard you tube app of own choice

Tubex works just like Youtube app but you can watch your videos in PiP. Sorry, I didn't notice you wanted to watch videos on Safari. Well, the experience on Safari is definitely not ideal
