It's not a huge deal for me, but I tried the YouTube feature and found that it only will find a limited number of videos.

I used the Safari browser and went to YouTube that way. I can find any video I want (of course) but they will not play in Safari.

I wish there was a way to format a video on YouTube to play it on the iPhone.

I finally found the url http://m.youtube.com which is probably what the iphone YouTube application is using. Alas, the same limitation. I got the following message:

YouTube themselves are in the process of changing the encoding on all content so that it works on iPhone. Traditionally everything has been delivered via Flash, but it's being migrated to H.264 which is included in Quicktime.

Yes YouTube said the conversion won't be done until Fall.

But even while we wait for the conversion to be completed, the thousands of videos we can get from YouTube is a hell of a lot better than the hundreds that Verizon's Vcast customers can get.

I just watched the skateboarding dog again on my iPhone, because it is too funny.
