Hey all, I'm getting pretty annoyed at the inability of my macbook to play youtube videos all of a sudden. I first noticed it about 2 weeks ago. I tried updating Flash (3 times), didn't work. I tried the html5 trick, still doesn't work (audio is fine, video super choppy). I'm pretty fed up! I've never had such problems on my mac in 4 years. Why now? FWIW I'm using Leopard.

Did you try the html5 solution offered by youtube? That didn't work well for me to. I know use a flashtohtml5 plugin for safari, which works great!

IT just has the error message -cannot play, download the latest version of Flash. Tried uninstalling whatever version I had and installing the new one 3 times and got nothing. HTML5 did not work either. That one only plays audio, video is ultra choppy (like nearly frozen). In all this, Firefox works fine.
