Hello. Is there a reason why YouTube free movies can be seen on my TV through ATV, only from YouTube app on iPad or iPhone and not from iMac and Apple TV YouTube app. No problems with videos though. In a nutshell, if I want to watch a YT free movie with adds, I have to mirror the screen of the iPad or the iPhone. Can't watch from YouTube site on Safari on iMac and from YT app on ATV. From iMac, Airplay just stops. Someone has a clue?
Thanks so much

It would be a restriction set by Google.
I’ve got the YouTube app on my SkyQ box and you can’t watch movies at all via the app.

OK I understand this part. But why is it possible then to stream from the iPad and iPhone ? That brings another problem, when these devices go to sleep, so goes the movie. And why would Google put that restriction the first place?
