iPhone 11 Pro Youtube HDR - No option on 11 Pro Max?

Hey all, noticed today that I'm not getting an option to play HDR videos in Youtube on an 11 Pro Max. I swear that option was there previously with my XS Max, unless they changed something in the app that prevents you from selecting HDR, or does it just autoplay it now if the display supports it?

Think someone posted saying it’s a problem with google and Apple. Google ain’t trying to show any hdr content for iPhones or something.

While the iPhone can display HDR images, I can't play YouTube HDR content. It's a YouTube thing

I always heard the iPhone X could play YouTube HDR content. Not sure how to verify if it is actually HDR.

Maybe the device it's not certified yet by Google...

Youtube will have to update to support the new phones. They did last year, so likely just a waiting game until they update from their end.
