YouTube heaviness, am I the only one?

Hi guys.

So 2 days ago, I noticed how my YouTube is very heavy.
I guess YouTube went through an update? or something that causes computers to use discrete graphic even on low video quality (240p, 360p, 480p).
Usually, or last week, my Mac would only use discrete (AMD Radeon HD 6750M) on videos up to 720p.

Im not sure if this is YouTube's problem or my Mac's but Im guessing YouTube.
My activity monitor shows how stable my computer is.
Safari itself is only using about 300MB and plug-in is about another 300MB.

When I try so skip parts in the video, it lags and sometimes it stops processing the video so I would have to reload the page.

During these activities, my Mac also lags. Safari freezes (beachball), mouse cursor disappears, missioncontrol lags, pretty much everything.

So, am I the only one who is seeing this when visiting YouTube?
To me, this doesnt happen on any other websites.

Not on my machine. Check your status concerning the html5 trial on youtube. Are you using any other extensions?

PS: If you have gfxcardstatus installed (and set to dynamic switching), you can click on the menu bar icon and find out which process triggered the discrete GPU.

Only Adblock and 1Password.
On my gfx, it told me "Dependencies com.apple.qtkitserver, PID: 76089"
while watching YouTube video on 360p.

qtkitserver is responsible for quicktime playback. That's all I know, google might know more

I have an old macbook. I have noticed YouTube being jittery and slow lately, other video sites are fine.

Youtube Video Lag

I have a MacBook Pro 2011 and now can't watch any youtube video. Something change in the past 2 weeks that makes youtube lag to the point to its unwatchable. I think it had something to do with a flash upgrade I installed but I have sice reverted back and it's still laggy. I hate flash...


EDIT:

I thought I had uninstalled the update version of Flash (11.1.102.63) but the uninstaller apparently did nothing. I disabled flash in chrome and now everything works fine without lag. I still don't know how to uninstall flash 11.1.102.63 so it still laggs in safari.

Alright, I unchecked HTML5 Trial.
I'll see how this goes.

I updated to the .64 flash update and YouTube is back to normal. Before it video sound would Start before the video itself

Same! Even when I close out the page, the sound goes on for couple seconds.
So annoying :/
