Youtube (IpadOS) will not play youtube video in fullscreen after commercial

In IPadOS 15.7 I have noticed a problem with youtube current version breaking playing fullscreen video after commercial only playing video in standard view and leaving the rest of the screen black. It should play the video in full screen. Am I the only one seeing this?

Is this in the YouTube app or through the website?

It is the youtube app 17.37.3 on iPad os 15.7 in landscape mode.

I had this problem last week iPP 12.9 gen 2&3..
It will resolve itself.
I think mine did after the 15.7 update.
