YouTube no longer 5.1

I’m positive YouTube used to play some videos in 5.1. I’ve made sure the audio settings are right and nothing has changed but nothing I do can get YouTube to play anything in 5.1. Even 5.1 test videos.

Has there been a recent release that’s bugged or is it me!

I’ve been having the same issue myself as all audio is in the opus codec and I just get 2 channel audio, weirdly however if I go to profile selection and watch as a guest then the audio codec is ec-3 and I get 5.1.
