Apps Youtube on Apple.tv (and not only) not refreshing new content

This is strange, but I have noticed that ever since the new version of Youtube I have issues with new content being shown and refreshed. In the past, prior to that update, I was getting a lot of interesting suggestion, but now same thing is shown over and over again. A have a premium service on Youtube, but will probably cancel it as it makes no sense anymore. Do you have same observations?
 
It’s a terrible app on the Apple TV. It’s almost impossible to get the content refreshed and the recommended section is the same stuff for weeks and weeks.

YouTube really need to sort it out. It’s so frustrating.

But is anyone else suffering from it? It is a known issue? It doesn't seem like this thread have any traction and so maybe other people are not affected?
