YouTube on iPad

1. All of a sudden the channels that I subscribe to have essentially dissapeared, when I go on my MacBook they are all present!
2. How do you subscribe on an iPad?
3. How do you toggle your search results on an iPad ie newest first or most viewed etc?
4. Is it me or is major work required on this app?

1) Yeah, saw a thread about this the other day. I don't care because it didn't show all of them anyway.
2) You can't, use the mobile website.
3) You can't, use the mobile website.
4) Oh yeah, it needs updating... I use I think it's called ProTube on my phone, lets me reply to video comments which I find useful.

When I use the Safari version on the iPad I constantly get the error message 'this video is currently unavailable'

Rubbish.

Definitely also had these problems on the mobile youtube site but switching to the app things seem to work much better.

Haven't tried ProTube but I think I will give it a whirl

ProTube is essentially a wrapper for the mobile site.

I had the same issue on my iphone 4 and apple tv. Resubscribing to a few channels seemed to make them all reappear again.
