OK, just found out a trick so cool I had to post it right away. Some of you are already aware that coreplayer is the magical saviour for HD playback on good old powerpcs. However, until now, I did not know any way to watch youtube streaming with it (coreplayer has youtube browser in it but it doesn't work anymore due to youtube changing too often lately).
So here's the trick:
1. Get MacTubes.
2. Search for HD video of your choice, open the window and select "download" and HD or HD 1080.
3. Find where the file is loading, open it right away with coreplayer.
4. Ask yourself why coreplayer sees the total lenght and has no indexing issues even if the file is currently downloading while you watch it.
5. Wow.
So, basically this trick gets around the "open url" issue where coreplayer cannot playback youtube streaming.
