For some reason when i am watching youtube videos and i switch to full screen, the playback freezes for like 2 seconds, sometimes it's a black screen, sometimes it's a still of the video, then when it resumes, the video is all pixelated for like a second and then playback goes back to normal.

What is causing this to happen?

Quick note... this only happens with Youtube videos, playback is fine with videos from other sites.

It's because YouTube is changing to a different resolution video. That is, it might be switching from a 480p to a 1080p, and therefore, it starts the download again from the position you're watching. You didn't notice that it looks much better full screen, but you did notice the pause. :p

i heard this is a problem because the high res screens are 16:10 while youtube is 16:9... might be totally wrong on this haha
