Hello. I'm having a very annoying problem with YouTube app after last OS upgrade. The thing is that I have to remove and reinstall the app as videos get laggy after I do some plays. I mean, I install it, videos play smoothly, but after watching some videos (not many) it start to play them with very poor frame rate. It's like any memory leak or something because if I remove and reinstall it plays well again, so I discard my connection.

Anyone noticed that?

Same problem here. No need to restart/reinstall, killing it (swipe up in tasks Witcher) also works.

In general I find the YouTube app lacking on many features. Hope Google will improve it over time.

I got this answer on Twitter @Kristofferabild Thanks for the heads up on that! We'll have the team take a closer look into what might be going on. :)

Well, this team is obviously pretty useless. I still have this problem.

"Apple, it just worked" (C)

Apple could help with that just removing the app from the store. I'm sure Google would put more efforts to solve that.

I have the same issues. It seems that restarting the Apple TV fixes it.

It happens when I "jump" a lot on videos or when I scroll the timeline.

Yes. It was Apple's problem and not Google's. I was surprised as it was the only app that had that problem, but it's solved now.
