YouTube question: Private but shareable?

I'll be getting iLife '08 soon, and I thought YouTube would be a good way for me to post videos of my daughter on my blog. But I don't want those videos to come up in YouTube's search. Is there a way for me to do that? Be able to embed it but not have it available in YouTube's general library (ie basically make it private, but shareable?)

I know there are other services out there, I was wondering about YouTube though since it is integrated with iLife.
